Maria Salas received her Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University, summa cum laude, in 1985. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Nashville School of Law in 1992.
Salas is a current member of the Tennessee State Bar, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Maria Salas is certified as a consumer bankruptcy specialist by both the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization and the American Board of Certification. She has been recognized by the Nashville Business Journal as “Best of the Bar” for bankruptcy law. She is also a frequent speaker at bankruptcy seminars.
